Pre-Ballet This class is designed for ages 32 Months-5 years.  We will accept older twos if their behavior and attention is fairly good for their age and they are potty trained. This class teaches ballet basics as well as creative movement.  The development of both gross and fine motor skills is stressed in this class.  We limit class size.   All of our Pre-ballet teachers have a heart for little ones and are experienced in working with this age range.  In addition to the teacher there is always atleast one, and usually two, assistants in each class.

Ballet I This class is for students ages 5 -7 who are just beginning ballet or for students who have completed 1-2 years of pre-ballet.  These classes are limited in size with a teacher and at least 1 assistant attending the classroom.   Students will continue to learn basic ballet knowledge and terminology.  Balance and gross body control are further exercized.  This class level provides structure and helps children to develope self-discipline.

Ballet II – This class is for students ages 6 – 10.  Completion of atleast one year of Ballet I is recommended as this is an upper beginner level class.  Students will continue to learn new ballet movements and terminology.  Improved balance, coordination, body control, and furthering of self-discipline are benefits of this class.   A teacher and assistant are in this classroom.

Ballet III –  This class is for students ages 8 -12 who have had prior ballet training.   It is an intermediate level class attended by a teacher and assistant.   Learning to sequence dance movements and choreography is stressed.  In addition to learning many new things, these students will begin working towards developing grace in what they have learned.  Strength training will begin at this level.  The importance of proper ballet and general classroom etiquette is further stressed.  Instructor or Director approval is required.

Ballet IV –  Ballet IV is an upper intermediate level class for students ages 9 – 13 who have had prior ballet training.  This class is attended by a teacher and assistant.   Body control and grace are further developed.  Strengthening of the core, legs, ankles and feet is a focus at this level.  Students may spend 3-4 years in this class level before moving onto the advanced level classes of Ballet V and Ballet VI.  Instructor or Director approval is required.

Ballet V –  This is a lower advanced level class for students who have had many years of dance training.  Generally, students at this level are ages 12 and older.  Students will begin learning more advanced level ballet technique and choreography.   Grace, strength, balance, control, and self-discipline will become quite developed at this level.   Students at this level are usually preparing to enter Beginning Pointe, if they wish.   This class may also begin working on ministry pieces to be performed in the community.  Director approval is required.

Ballet VIThis is an upper advanced level class with students ages 12 and older.   These students have developed excellent self-discipline and are dedicated to their dance training.  The dance technique learned over the years is refined as they are also challenged by new choreography and ideas.   This class may also begin working on solo, duet, or trio ministry pieces to be performed in the community.  Director approval is required.

Beginning Teen-Adult Ballet –  This class is specially designed for teenagers and adults who have never danced before or who danced many years ago.  Basic ballet is broken down by a skilled instructor for this age range.  We have had beginning teen-adult students ranging in age from 11 to 52.

Teen-Adult Ballet This class is designed for teenagers and adults who have a little formal dance training as adults or who danced when they were younger.   It allows students to further develop skills that they had learned when younger and learn new ballet technique.  Strengthening, control, balance, grace, and self-control are developed in this class. Several of these students transistion to Ballet V, Ballet VI, and Pointe classes.   This class may also begin working on ministry performances.
