Studio Rules

  • Keep it Positive!  We are here to learn and to have a great time.  Please bring a positive attitude into the classroom.

  • No food, drink, or chewing gum in the classrooms.

  • Encourage fellow students; make them smile.

  • Respect your instructors.  They are working hard to help you learn and grow.  Please listen to your instructors and give them your full attention.

  • God gave you the talent and desire to be here.  Offer Him your best in all you do today.  Leave here feeling proud, and knowing that you were fearfully and wonderfully made by a God who loves you!

Dress Code

Please dress modestly and appropriately at all times.   No bare midriffs.

Ballet

Black or pink leotard with pink tights, pink ballet shoes

Jazz

Black leotard with black tights or jazz pants, black jazz shoes

Tap

Black leotard with black tights, black tap shoes

Lyrical

Black leotard with black, pink or tan tights, lyrical shoes or bare feet

Turning Pointe has adopted a “Cover Up Policy.”  This means that we prefer you to “cover up” your dance clothes as you enter or leave the building.  This is for your safety.  It will keep you modestly dressed as well as keep your muscles warm after dancing, which will help protect you from injury.  The cover up policy also includes your dancing shoes.  Walking outside on the pavement is not good for the longevity of your footwear, and bringing the outdoors onto our dance floors can cause slippery areas.  Take care of yourself, your shoes, and our facilities, and cover up!
